Relationship | 1st cousin 7 times removed of Doris J. Muller |
Father* | Samuel Worden born 4 April 1745; Note: DNA testing now proves that Samuel M. was not the son of Benjamin and Sarah Worden. He is probably the son of Samuel b. 1745 and his wife Elizabeth(?).1 |
Mother* | Elizabeth ? Unknown |
Family | Elizabeth Unknown born about 1780, died 1 January 1822 |

Speculation* | Could the first child have been Joseph born before 14 Jun 1793? And, if so, could wife Elizabeth be a granddaughter of Joseph Southard (my 7th great grandfather, TMG ID#2116) who wrote his will that day and named Joseph Wording [sic] as his great grandson and son of Elizabeth?6 |
Census | 1820; Clinton, Dutchess, New York; E3Y: age 43, with wife Elizabeth c42, d (m ?) c19, Adeline c15, Zacheus E3YA 13, Matthew E3YW% c5, Eliza c7, Samuel E3YZ c47 |

Father-Alt* | Father of Leonard (ID #1545)?4 |
Marriage* | about 1770; Westchester, New York; Principal=Elizabeth ? Unknown5 |
Note* | In 1770, Samuel (age 24) is alone in Westchester County, NY. In 1780, he is married and has three children (per Gilbert Bahn). They are in Westchester County, NY. [Notice that Dr. Bahn later belives that Samuel's second son was Leonard, not Samuel M. and places Samuel M. as a son of Benjamin instead of Leonard.] This family then disappears, although there is a Jesse (over 16) in Stephentown, Albany Co., NY in 1790 with one male under 16 and 3 females. In 1800, there are two Jesses in Dutchess County: 1 male 26-45, 2 females under 10 and wife 16-26 (census p. 156 - Amenia); 1 male 26-45, 3 males under 10, 2 females under 10, and wife 26-45 (census p. 110 - Clinton). In 1810, we find a Samuel Worden in Clinton: 1 male 26-45, 2 under 10, 1 10-16 and wife 26-45, 2 females under 10.6,1 |
Note | Worden Surname Census ID: E3. There may be more children who are unknown to me but were evidently published in a later Worden surname book.7 |
